A brief walk in the park yielded this shot of the sawed end of a log used for a parking perimeter.  Kik ass texture.

Dead Pine- WI River

A dead and weathered pine tree along the WI River near Rhinelander, WI

My brother has a place on the WI River.  He called to say he saw a dead pine tree at river’s edge that begged to be photographed.  We took a boat ride and I must admit it was a great scene.
